Fire Board Representive needed

Wayland Township is seeking a township representative to serve on the Fire Board.

Applicants must be a Wayland Township resident and be willing to attend Fire Board meetings as needed. This position provides an opportunity to represent the township and participate in important discussions related to fire protection.

City of Wayland fire dept. seeking on call firefighters

The fire department is seeking residents of Wayland Township who would like to serve their community as a paid-on-call firefighter.  No experience is necessary, and all training and equipment is provided.  Pay is $22 per hour.  Applicants are required to complete a 295-hour fire academy and 70-hour medical fire responder training within 2 years of hire.  For more information or to receive an application, please contact Firefighter Ryan Penny at the phone number or email address listed above.
